Project developers

Before starting on a Peatland Code project landowners may wish to consult a Project Developer. Project Developers provide a paid service and will charge a fee. 

What does a project developer do? 

Typically, a project developer will oversee your restoration to the Peatland Code as well as the ongoing verifications. This may mean feasibility studies, project administration, managing the restoration process and overseeing validations and verifications.

Peat partnerships

Peat partnerships are groups of organisations that work together to restore and protect peatlands.

Brokers

Brokers will help find a buyer for Pending Issuance Units (PIUs) and Peatland Carbon Units (PCUs). They usually charge a commission.
