Global Restoration Demonstrating Success Workshop and Launch

We are delighted to announce the launch of our latest IUCN UK Peatland Programme and CEM Thematic Group on Peatlands publication, Global Peatland Restoration Demonstrating Success (following on from UK Peatland Restoration Demonstrating Success).

The launch will take place on Tuesday April 29th 2014 in Brussels and will take the form of a workshop at the Welsh Government EU Offices (Rond-Point Schuman 11) followed by an evening reception at the IUCN EU Representative Office (Boulevard Louis Schmidt 64).

The launch will of course celebrate the publication and all those who contributed to it, but will also be an important opportunity to engage NGOs working in Europe and the EU Commission to highlight peatlands as a concrete example of a nature based solution to climate change and water problems.
