Peatland Hydrology Workshop

Cumbria BogLIFE and Pennine PeatLIFE Peatland Hydrology Workshop 20th-21st June 2019

 

Day 1: Indoor session at Cumbria Wildlife Trust’s Plumgarths Office, near Kendal (lunch included)
Day 2: Site visits to RSPB Geltsdale and Walton Moss NNR

This two day peatland hydrology workshop is being organised through the Cumbria Peat Partnership and will be led by Natural England’s hydrology specialist, Anna Wetherell. The course will look at lowland and upland peat hydrology and the impacts of cutting, milling and drainage. You are also invited to submit any specific topics or questions you would like covering in the workshop.

Please note: 4x4 vehicles will be required to access RSPB Geltsdale. Please inform Susie if you are able to provide a 4x4 vehicle for lift shares on day 2.
