About the event

The Peatland Code and Woodland Carbon Code teams have been carrying out some work to support the creation of a carbon + biodiversity credit that could be incorporated into the codes. In this project, we have developed a metric to measure biodiversity change in peatland restoration and woodland creation sites. We have also carried out some financial modelling to understand the financial feasibility of the carbon + credit. In this free webinar, we’ll share an update on progress and outline the key steps ahead.

The webinar will be recorded and shared on the Woodland Carbon Code and IUCN UK Peatland Programme websites.

This project is supported by The Facility for Investment Ready Nature in Scotland (FIRNS), delivered by NatureScot in collaboration with The Scottish Government and in partnership with the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
