Peatland ACTION - funding round 2018/19 now open

March 20, 2018
Peatland ACTION opened to applications for the 2018/19 funding round on Monday 19th March 2018.

They are keen to have as many projects ready to deliver in 2018/19 and wish to encourage applications for longer term projects.  Whilst they will not be able to approve the future years of multi-year applications, they can make the initial assessment and approve as and when future funding becomes available. They hope this will shorten future approval times and make it easier for contractors to plan and deliver work on the ground.

Work approved this year will need to be completed before the end of March 2019. The closing date for applications is 31 May 2018.

The application form, information on eligibility and guidance for 2018/19 round are available on their web page: Peatland Action.

If you have any queries or would like to speak to a local Peatland ACTION project officer, please contact: Peatlandaction@snh.gov.uk
