We are recruiting for a Peatland Programme Officer to join the IUCN UK Peatland Programme team. 

 

Title: Peatland Programme Officer

Contract: Provisional 1st July 2021 start date until 31st March 2022 

Salary: £25,000 per annum

Location: Currently home working with future option of being based at Harbourside House, Edinburgh, EH6 6NF

Closing date for applications: 12 noon, Wednesday 12th May 2021 with a provisional interview date of 24th May 2021.

 

The successful candidate will be pivotal in the delivery of the Peatland Programme’s objectives to champion peatland values. They will have the level of knowledge and experience to drive forward and promote peatland restoration in the UK and be able to advocate the multiple benefits of peatlands through partnerships, strong science, sound policy, effective practice, and communication.
