This fund is designed to support new Eyes on the Bog users, helping you get started with:
- essential monitoring equipment,
- resources to engage your community,
- and tools to input and share your data through a brand-new open-source platform.
It’s all part of our wider support package running from 2024 to 2026, which includes:
- training for new volunteers,
- new fixed-point photography posts and totemic site markers,
- and an exciting new online map, data platform, and open-source app—developed in partnership with The Wildlife Trusts.
Applications are open to registered organisations who are completely new to using Eyes on the Bog and/or have fewer than 10 Eyes on the Bog monitoring points set up. Whether you're a conservation organisation or local initiative just getting started, this is your chance to take part in a hands-on, science-led movement to understand our peatlands.
📅 How to Apply
Applications are open from International Bog Day (Sunday 27th July) until midday on Monday 13th October.
