Field Guide to Sphagnum mosses fold-out chart now available

February 22, 2012

Field Guide to Sphagnum mosses fold-out chart now available, produced in association with IUCN UK Peatland Programme, Field Studies Council, Moors For The Future and the Heather Trust.

This new fold-out chart fulfills the need for a straightforward photographic identification guide to the more important Sphagnum mosses found growing in bogs throughout the UK. Specially taken photographs of the leaves and shoots of each species are accompanied by further ID notes in the text (including guidance on commonly confused species), a guide to the major colours of each species and scale.
